The international community plays a vital role in ensuring that Myanmar is not left behind by reversing the decline in Official Development Assistance (ODA) and providing urgent, coordinated debt relief through restructuring and swaps. Beyond financial aid, development partners should support a “smooth transition” strategy that extends trade preferences for at least five years post-graduation, allowing countries to maintain economic stability while losing access to specific LDC funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By increasing investments in science, technology, and climate finance and simplifying access to the Green Climate Fund, the global community can help Myanmar bridge the digital divide and build resilience to turn the “Leave No One Behind” pledge into a tangible reality for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
